Solutrades Master Painters Interior Painting Process
Set Up
For interior jobs, all items are placed in the centre of the room and covered with clean, new plastic sheeting. Floors are protected with drop cloths to avoid damage from spills.
Prep
Holes and cracks in the walls or ceilings are primed, filled, stains are sealed and surfaces scuff-sanded.
Paint
After we have prepared the area appropriately we spot prime then paint to a uniform finish.
Clean
Tools are cleared away and furniture is returned to its desired location. We then vacuum and sweep the floors to leave the room looking great.
Solutrades Master Painters Exterior Painting Process
Wash
Exterior areas to be painted are power washed or hand washed to remove dirt and mildew.
Prep
Loose paint is removed and all glossy areas are scuff-sanded. Bare areas are primed, filled and scuff-sanded to prevent water intrusion and any rust is treated before painting begins.
Paint
After preparation, areas to be painted are spot primed again and then painted to a uniform finish.
Clean
Clean up is done daily to avoid hazards, as well as upon completion of our work. Paint chips are removed and all materials are packed up and stored neatly.
